Window trim and brick seams create hard horizontal lines. If the body sits under the sill, seekers read the dark band as architecture instead of a player.

Paint recipe

Main: Sill shadow

Second: Brick orange

Shadow: Lower trim dark

Use the shadow as the main color and add brick only on the exposed outer edge.

Pose tip: Flatten under the trim and keep limbs parallel to the sill line.

Hider plan

  1. Pick a sill or beam with a shadow wider than your body.
  2. Sample the darkest trim band.
  3. Paint the exposed edge brick orange only after the body is dark.
  4. Hold a flat pose under the horizontal line.

Seeker counter

  • Scan window trim before moving to floor boxes.
  • Look for one shadow band that is thicker than the others.
  • Check from below or the side to expose body depth.
